GM Ranger

Post by VetteGP » Fri 25 Nov 2016, 20:15

Hi All,
A lot of you will know the GM Ranger of Reg. Well, I bought the car from Nancy, who sadly passed away about a week after I bought the car.

I plan to finish off the car and will post updates of progress made.

I have been lucky enough to find an original Ranger badge for the car.

Thank you to Johann65 for parts and manuals for the car.

I decided to go for black carpet interior. Looks quite nice with the black dash and the black & Brown door cards.

Next on the list of to do:
Get the gearbox running smoothly.
Redo the front seats ... same as the back seats.

Battling to attach photos at the moment. Will do so as soon as possible.
Regards
Gareth

Hullo Gareth,
I believe there is someone in Germistion that is good with autoboxes.
If you want I can send you a copy of the Opel C factory manual section for the autobox!
NS! I am a believer in fine 99% pure Graphite dust powder to smooth gear shift action!

Believe it or not!! The C model Opel only came out with a 3 or 4 speed manual! Column or floor shift!
The B model came out with a 2 speed powerglide auto with the McKinnon engine!!
That is why I regarded the Auto box as rare!!! 8O
