Yes,i bought the car from Jack ,8 months before he passed away.I bought it in May 2006 and he passed away in Dec. of that year. But i already knew that this is the type of Cobra I would like to own in 1997,when i saw this car for the first time at a concourse. The rest is history......
Cheers.

The first year i owned the car i was 2nd in the Concourse, and now for the past 3 years in a row i came 1st.I think it's enough now....LOL.I've proofed that it's a winner.I do enjoy my car,it's not just a garage queen.I use it frequently and i even race the car at Zwartkops in the Team Cobra racing series we started last year.I'm sure Jack will turn over in his grave if he knows that.I for one believe a car needs to be used and enjoyed.Tomorrow i might die and lost out on all the fun...
Cheers.

Hi Johan,
the first year I entered my car in the Cobra Club Concourse, Jack and I were entered in the top's only catogry, Jack beat me into first place by one point, he was not very happy, as I had built my car in my garage, and he had spent R15000.00 on a factory built car, he said how is it possible that a kit car can beat a factory car. Even Greg Erasmus was not amused.
Regard's,
Mervin Short
