Re: Is S.A. really going down?

Your second post is an overly lame duck. Why ?
Why?. Because this forum has been degraded to the stage that anyone may make stupid derogatory statements but NOBODY may say anything that could upset them.

Re: Is S.A. really going down?

However, as far as I am concerned, it is exactly the same as the situation where people sell all our classic cars to the best bidder from overseas, without caring about the consequences. Earlier today replied to this statement very aggressively using expletives. "TERS" in his wisdom deleted the pos...

Re: Cars going to OZ and NZ.

There is a company in Durban that did the export of my last GT. They did a fantastic job even doing the police clearance and all the export paperwork.

PM me if you want their details.

Re: Ford Cortina 3.0 S Sticker/Decal kit

Unfortunately I have finally retired and don't do graphics anymore. I have however given Robbie my original artwork so that he can get it done locally.

With the post office the way it is he would have been lucky to get it next year if I had made it for him and posted it.

Re: The one that got away

Well don't feel too bad. It's a Grande and not a Mach1.

You don't get anywhere near the price of a Mack1 for these cars. The main problem is with it's original 302 motor it's a bit of a dead dog.

Re: Poll: Members average age?

That being said with Hard work anything is possible.i fall under the 20-30 bracket and im in love with muscle cars. Yes the more popular versions are pretty steep but with some time and effort you can find something reasonable and make it your own. I think this is exactly the point I made. When I w...

Re: Poll: Members average age?

Dougie - guys in the 20 to 30 bracket do not have the funds to play with these things, nor the time
It costs nothing to join this forum, only the interest. There are members on this forum who are still dreaming about owning a muscle car. As for the time, I think that's the problem.

Re: Poll: Members average age?

The low percentage of 20-30 makes you wonder what the future of muscle cars will be. If computers and this forum had been available when I was 20-30 the percentage would have been 80%.

A few pictures from Wheels at the Vaal before my battery went flat. I am sure there will be more.
