Re: Mk1 Ford Granada Chassis Number
The C is C4 auto( US made same as in the Perana but with a different bellhousing) and D is C3 auto. This is euro spec codes but if the Granada from 72 - late 73 it has a C4 box marked C on the plate.

C4 automatic used in a Perana Granada 73
Hi. I have a bare shell cokebottle coupe from 73 missing eng and its C4 box. There are about 15 different bellhousings for this auto box. Which one was used in the Granada? I found one but the shape of the bellhousing was different then the one used in my other Perana. It looks like it has a steep a...

Re: Mk1 Ford Granada Chassis Number
You will not find any numbers on an SA made Granada. The only ID you have are the plate on the right hand side on top of the slam panel.

BG identification plate.
I have a coupe from 75 with different numbers on the engine and serial number plate. I have never seen this before and on my other Perana`s the numbers are the same on the plate. It is written: Eng.no 08xxA Ser.no 10xx The difference is close to 200 and not anyone I have spoken to understands why it...
Re: Perana ID
If you have a Granada you will only find 2 tags and they are in the engine bay.

Re: Perana wheels and V8 unknown V8 badge
Is there someone who are in the position to delete this thread? It is getting out of hand and getting us nowhere. I will think twice before I ask anything in here again. If your knowledge and observations are so great as you claim all this should not even have been happening. Ronal is aluminum wheel...

Re: Perana wheels and V8 unknown V8 badge
So much writing and you still have not understood my question. I do not like them but as I have mentioned numerous times, if they came with the car they stay on it. Reading your previous response and comments in other threads in here regarding the Granada you obviously needed a pair of good glasses ...

Re: Perana wheels and V8 unknown V8 badge
There must be a lot of paint removing Ghia Perana lovers driving around in their 74 Granada in South Africa. I just found this 74 Ghia with the same wheels as mine. Fully chromed and shiny. 71GranadaPeranaAuto.jpg The wheels on the 1600E might have been made the way you say due to the fact that they...

Re: Perana wheels and V8 unknown V8 badge
I never thought this would turn into a muscle showing competition of who knows best about the Granada. After reading the "Racing Granadas" in here I see that, although this is an old post and hopefully the knowledge is better, not that many people know a great deal about this car. It is a mass produ...
