Re: Car storage

Renting at a storage place like the ones close to the airport in Cape Town are going to cost you just over R1000.00 per month ... that is if you can get one. There is usually a waiting list for them. Renting a garage privately will probably cost you half that if you look around. The problem that may...

Town driving around 17L/100km (Difficult to drive economy style .. its just too much fun... A bit heavy in town, but great rewarding expe...

Re: Top 5 - Car's that's out to get you.

Watched "The Car" when i was about 7 .... loved it . Wouldnt mind seeing that again.

But I agree, "Christine" rates as no 1 for me out of that list, with "The Car" a close second.

You are spot on there .... that AMC Hornet stunt rates very high on my list.

and the character linked to it "Sheriff J.W. Pepper" did a great job of his role also.

I watched " Diamonds are forever" last night and there was a good chase scene with Connery driving a Red Mustang Mach 1 ... one of my favourite mustangs of them all.

Old James Bond movies

I have started to re - watch all the old James Bond movies .... The old Sean Connery ones from the 60's have some really nice vehicles starring in them ... especially the extras in the background. Saw "You only live twice" last night and spotted a beaut of a gold/brown 59 impala convertible while wa...

Re: 67 Impala resto

Graeme the 59 will look good next to your other treasures you have .... I will keep dreaming for now.

Wouldnt mind a national impala get together or road trip one day, but you would have to hire a whole lot of driver to attend with all yours.

Cheers
