Re: Mustangs

So here's a question. Two years ago a good friend of mine brought in a 66 convertible from the US where he had it converted to RHD. The car is in stunning condition and is full-house with every factory option available. Power roof, floor lighting etc etc. We recently redid all the wiring back to fac...

Re: Split.

Nick, if your contact / yourself genuinely has access to a '63 split window you'd be getting this piece of rocking horse sh*t for yourself. That's as rare as a gold-plated unicorn. Smell a rat anyone??

Re: SBC 327

Thanks for the responses. For peace of mind, we're probably going to start with a 4 bolt, 4 inch bore and new forged crank. Just need to decide whether we go 3 inch stroke ( as per DZ 302 spec) or whether we go longer stroke for increased displacement. Still like the idea of the short stroke for hig...

SBC 327

Have been looking at a new purchase which is currently running a Chex 327. Have done a fair amount of research, but there seems to be two schools of thought on this. Did Chev produce any 327's with 4 bolt mains or are they all 2 bolt? Reason I ask is nah we are looking at modding to full race spec -...

Visit to LA

Just back from NYC / LA. I tend to do quite a bit of driving on my LA visits and, as such, always rent "something special". This year I got my hands on the 2017 Camaro SS Fiftieth Anniversary Convertible. 6.2 liter, 8 speed auto. Picked it up at LAX at 1.00am after flying in from New York and was pl...

Re: Can anyone help with A2 2.0 ?

Great to see Ant Corin back at Killarney yesterday in the 6L Capri Perana that has been under discussion here. Two excellent races, with a 3rd pace in Heat 1 and a win in Heat 2. The car sounds great and was very well driven in a class field that had 46 or so starters, including most of the quickest...

Re: Ford Mustang GT350 For Sale

And then there is the genuine, unrestored, complete 390 (R spec) that sold for 500k a couple of months.

Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside BILL

I had recorded a programme on National Geographic called "Harley and the Davidsons" a three part series very much romanticised about the beginnings and progress of Harley Davidson Was a great series, shot in Romania, but also used quite a few film crew from South Africa. Interesting titbit - all th...
