Re: ROVER V8 RACE CAR

Dennis also bought an Autoquip Jaguar [Ex South African Car] This could have been the ex Mike Moore car, I remember it well as Mikes son and I were friends when we were growing up, vividly remember watching the car at Killarney. Morning, I wanted to find the pictures I have of it over the weekend b...

Re: Hi to all members

Hi MFG, welcome. Interesting that you have a bit of Z181's history there. Please check with Llewelly Anthony if the name van Aswegen rings a bell. Hi, I will try and phone him today and find out if the name rings a bell. I think Sarel is also still visiting him, so maybe between the two of them the...

He can't remember from who he bought it but when he got it, it was yellow with no engine but still had the knock off wheels. He bought an interceptor v6 motor from ford motorspo...

Re: ROVER V8 RACE CAR

Thanx for the info. I can remember when they raced here. I think one of the cars was bought by a local guy named Dennis De Wet and remained here in Namibia. Dennis also bought an Autoquip Jaguar [Ex South African Car] at some stage and it was the fastest car here for some years. It's end came when L...
