I attended the show. Was pretty good I think, and there was about 50 or so classic/muscle cars. Counting the modified rice rockets, there could have been close to a hundred maybe... Never considered doing it with the motor running... I will have to find a set of covers to sacrifice for this purpose the next time.

I adjusted them all by a quarter and she runs much better on cold start!!

Thanks for the advice BB496. I will loosen them by quarter turn and see if it resolves the problem! If so the ignition remains on the priority list! I have been using Shell Rimula 15w40 for the last three changes so I dont think that has anything to do with it!! Likely just my inexperienced hand ove...
