Then only can we test fit the motor to see how far forward we can bring it for the C6 trans to clear the bottom edge of the firewall. http://...

Re: 1980 FORD F100
Hi Rassie. That is the plan. If I get mine back from the steering recon shop in time. If not I will fit it next year when we strip her for spraying. You don't perhaps have a spare F100 Pitmann arm that you are willing to modify to fit the ZF box and sell to me? I would like to have it all in place b...

Re: 1980 FORD F100
Hi Kermit. Yep I brought it down from Vanrhynsdorp on a trailer. That was quite a scary trip towing such a large load with over 100km of the road being under severe roadworks. It was a "Plaas Bakkie" so everything was fixed with whatever was available on the farm. So there is a huge amount of proper...

Oom Willie Nel is tackling the transmission install job. Freshly reconditioned C6 Transmission. Quite a job polishing 30+ years of grime away to get a nice shiny finish. http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah272/riaanofct/Recontrans_zpsf620a820.jpg http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah272/riaanofct/Recontrans02_zps9454e61e.jpg http://i1382.photobucket.co...
