OOps forgot to answer - YES that is the Ranger Springbok logo on the upper middle of back seat.

Mark Ever on the lookout for inexpensive (read CHEAP) materials... I went to Build It Hardware store and picked up waterproof flashing, about R235 +/- for a roll. You can get different widths but I opted for the easier to handle width. I researched online and I think it is basically the same, bitumi...

Took awhile, but finally saved enough bucks for sound deadner, underlayment and carpet 8O Gave rear seat a GOOD clean and glad to see NO RUST underneath carpets anywhere :mrgreen: Stripped and I will take SEVERAL: measurements before cutting and I will make several small cuts rather than screw it up...

Well no pics yet as it is dark now, but picked up carpet at a wholesale place for @ R750 :lol: Sure beats the R2300 quote I got. 8O Also the 3D moulding of the interior bits and the badges and now I am looking where I can dress up the Ranger a bit...I think I will place a Ranger Badge on the boot li...

I must admit this restoration is one of the best I have seen and coming from California I have seen plenty!! Your attention to detail, quality and originality is with the best and would not at all be out classed in shows like Pebble Beach or in LA or San Diego!

STILL no joy on the 5 3/4 sealed beam headlight :x but maybe the Cape Town antiques car show in January may turn up something :!: See events section for details. I did manage to recast the ranger badge so now I have spares...came out pretty good I think 8) 8) Just have to mount locating pins on back...
