Re: Manual box oprions for 302 Perana replica

Must admit I'm leaning towards a Tremec TKO or a T5 as all the adaptor kits seem readily available. Plus the thought of a Jap box in my project car seems wrong somehow.

Anyone in SA supply complete kits inc, bell, box, plates, clutch kits etc??

thanks Chris

Re: What brake cylinder is this?

Chris, I had a scratch through my Capri parts list. It seems like there are four types Girling non-servo Girling servo ATE non-servo ATE servo. The non-servo ones are easily identified because they have a pushrod with a clevis, and a dust boot. From the pictures it looks like you can change the non...

Re: Manual box oprions for 302 Perana replica

I would go with a heavy duty T5 if money wasn't the issue but the Supra box is plenty strong Ive seen them behind high KW motors and they don't break I stand under correction there's a place in Joburg that does all the oddball bellhousings and I'm sure they do the 302 windsor to Supra box well all ...

Re: Foreign Ownership

Hi - new to this forum but not new to life, classic cars or Perana's for that matter! I live in the UK. I have been around Capri's for over 18 years and I love 'em. I own a Capri Perana replica from South Africa. My friend has a genuine BG Perana and it's been in his garage in UK for 7 years. There ...
