Re: Door panels

I had to sort out this opening in the Jeep's dash. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn104/jmvv/Jeep%20door%20panels/29_zpssv2vwohb.jpg ( The mounting tabs were not done by me) Seeing as I need to built an air conditioning system for the car, I made this panel to mount the aircon outlets and...

Door panels

A friend of mine is busy building a Jeep Gladiator and asked me to make him some door panels. This is what the original looked like. The door in the background is the original from the Jeep. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn104/jmvv/Jeep%20door%20panels/1_zps7liajpbh.jpg This is what I made for ...

Re: To the moon and back

That Moon Mission from Delta, was exactly the reason why I bought my 89 Rekord 2.0 GLE for the princely sum of R39999.

What a brilliant car. I drove it for 12 years to about 350k km with only scheduled maintenance expenses.

Re: Yamaha 100 YB1

That head looks so similar to the Honda SS50 of the 1970's.
(Guess what was the aspirational schoolboy means of transport for me)

Re: 68 Mustang Notchback (another one)

And finally, as the cherry on top, we had the American flag airbrushed on the scoop. We first tried a sticker, but the edges of the sticker were always in the line of sight. The artwork is designed to look like the flag got caught on the front of the scoop, so it wraps around the leading edge. I thi...

Re: 68 Mustang Notchback (another one)

I was asked to see if I could do something about the boot as it looked a bit low rent. With the battery in the boot, housekeeping was not at its sharpest. So I made some custom panels, that I trimmed in black vinyl. I had some left over fender emblems, that I used as accent pieces and as handles to ...

Hayden Dart - When last did you see one of these?

A friend of mine has been building a Hayden Dart since 1997. Somehow the car ended up on the back burner and then the heat got turned off. This is actually a rather cool little car with a hot V6 Essex with Interceptor carbs, and all. What is nice is that it is properly registered and on the road. ht...
