Re: It is a store room with gold or scrap?

What you have got there is made of unobtanium.

Go try and buy any of those parts over a counter and see the blank stares.

Re: Toyota Tiara pickup

I learned to drive in one of those on my uncle's farm in Senekal.
Taking milk cans to the road for the milk truck to collect. :D

This is NUTS

After fitting the new 17" Magnum 500 wheel on the Mustang, I ran into a little snag. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn104/jmvv/68%20Mustang/9dac5871-ef80-4c8c-a633-f4187799d9ca_zpstmd583sl.jpg The wheel studs were too short to allow proper engagement with the wheel nuts. I only had about 5mm of ...

Eleanor bonnet, grille and chin spoiler.

I have changed the bonnet and grille of the '68 Mustang and these are now redundant.

The bonnet and chin spoiler are fibreglass.

Knock off wheels for sale

I have these wheels for sale after I changed the wheels on the '68 Mustang. http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn104/jmvv/68%20Mustang/20160316_090049_zps1mpl4zly.jpg The knock off hubs are dual pattern and can fit on 5x115 and 5x120 hubs. Re: 68 Mustang Notchback (another one)

That looks sooooo good!! Did you treat the wood of the steering wheel or is it stock like it came? Thanks for the compliments. The steering wheel is as delivered. On a different note. Today I feel rather chuffed, as I managed to install central locking in the Mustang's doors. It's rather deceiving ...

Re: 68 Mustang Notchback (another one)

Today was a milestone.

Got the electrics sorted and brought the dash to life.

It was great to hear the big V8 roar to life and have all my gauges working perfectly.

Re: 68 Mustang Notchback (another one)

Hi JMVV Looks really, really good! Love the steering wheel. For the MUSTANG lettering on the bootlid - did you use the stick on letters or the ones with pins? I did not have the intestinal fortitude to go with the pin-on letters. (I have yet to learn how to un-drill a hole  ) I went the stick-...
