Eurojet scooter parts Cape Town

Morning!

Not quite sure who else to ask, but Eurojet in 125 Buitengracht seems to be closed. Where can I get assistance for a scooter which I want to revive from a 10-year hybernation?

If it's only the batterie, I go to Trac-Mac. But what about other parts? Where were these things built?

Re: Rassie the slow restorer of Ford V8.

...and it went fast! In 2002 I bought a Fairlane 302 for R15.000. Drove it home and sold it 2 years later for - R15.000. Mustangs were then as low as R45.000 with a bent fender, and up to R150.000 for a really good one in Joburg. There is hope. I have a very energetic welder from the Flats and a am ...

Re: Rassie the slow restorer of Ford V8.

Keep it up! I am used to much faster builds in my old homeland and was shocked the other day that I started welding my recent chassis end of 2010... More than 8 years ago! But only since Jan this year I have a shared workshop where I can come and go as I please. Before I outsourced a lot, which took...

Re: McLaren M8F Can-Am / Interseries

sounds like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnl_KVf9fbw In the 90s I made sure to be in the pits at the Nürburgring when they started them. I stand behind one and listen to the open exhaust at idle. I would be able to take 3 to 7 seconds of it before I had to close my ears... On four jack stan...

Crankhandle Club Timor Hall Sun 26 May 2019

I know what you're thinking...: Old cars, old people :-)

Well, bring a later car, like your 50s or 60s OPEL.

Timor Hall is in Plumstead. Take St. Joans Road after the river driving up (or down...) Doordrift when coming from Constantia Mall.
Entrance is on your right.

10:00 to 12:00 is a good time.

American Racing "Turbine" wheels 8x15"

Good morning!

I consider to modify a set of American Racing wheels (the "Turbine" design) to knock.offs for my Cobra.
Does anybody have a set?

I measure required backspacing shortly.

Re: 427 SC Cobra body mold, chassis

SPF builds a great car, well sorted and authentic from the outside. But I prefer more originality under the body - which SPF, ironically builds, too:
The CSX 4000 Cobra. I saw such rollers for sale for under R500.000, which is a bargain. You cannot build it for less with that quality elsewhere in SA.

Re: 427 SC Cobra body mold, chassis

The chassis in the background is now growing into a car. I still have the chassis with the white tub for sale, and can make more. The first body hatched out of its egg. The next one will be sellable. I do still consider selling the mould. I know that there are plenty of such available to grow a busi...
