Re: Help needed on back spacing on 20 inch rims on a 57 chevy stepside

Your XJ axles should be 1550mm (61") from wheel mouting flange to flange. Measure the body and calculate the backspacing to suit. If you are worried about the front rims hitting parts, use the original XJ wheels as a reference. If you are lucky sombody here has smaller diameter rims but a similar se...

Re: fuel sensor to instrument mismatch, Jaguar

Aren't we lucky sometimes?
At MIDAS I found a kit from TAISCO GF-520P for R400 which has exactly that range!

And it was the only example they had.

Re: Jag XJ 6 steering rack upgrade

I ask Dave for a short tower version. I assume you have a RHD?
Maybe I should call you once I spoke to Dave (in Caledon)

Re: Jag XJ 6 steering rack upgrade

Seems the 8-tooth short tower has a faster ration (vs the 7-tooth long tower).

One big advantage is the faster ratio with the 8 tooth pinion:

Re: Jag XJ 6 steering rack upgrade

The XJR rack has a faster ratio, but this unit only interchanges with mid 90s XJ6. I don't know if this is the same layout as the older XJ6.
Also, there are short and long tower XJ6 racks. I need to inquire how they differ inside.

Did you consider changing the length of the steering arms?

fuel sensor to instrument mismatch, Jaguar

Good day! I am using XJ6 instruments in a car that I am building and look for a fuel sender to match the instrument. The Jaguar unit is calibrated for 200 Ohm (empty) and 30 Ohm (full). Is there a sender from a local store which has this values, or: Can I change one by cleverly using a resistor to m...

McLaren M8F Can-Am / Interseries

The car had been stored ever since his only race in Imola 1972. Now rebuilt and used since 2014. A new, comprehensive FIA pass had been issued featuring the “turbo” front which allows for more downforce. Engine is back in the car. We offer a test drive in Zolder who has open days, or on your own tra...

Re: 427 SC Cobra body mold, chassis

Note:
A handful of brackets needs still to be added to make it even more original, but as it is my bodies or most others will be supported.
A 100% original copy costs GBP 10.000 in UK.

I get the suspension drawings and brackets which you need to finish this.
