Pretty sure Richie Jute still has the Escort down in George - he has most of his old race cars.

Had the same thing with my Nissan Hardbody V6 last month - worked fine, went to fill up with petrol, and would not turn, only clicked, when I wanted to leave the petrol station. Pushed started , drove home, would not restart - checked charging all OK, charged over night still no starting. Battery 3 ...

Fuel caps are generally not universal and nearly every make and most models have different fittings/sizes/diameters...

What car/s is it for ?

This is the one I have - has 3 holes from outside and 4 from underneath - is this what you need ?
