I am planning on importing, it will be the last lot to complete the car. But I try to get as much as I can locally. I also need a fan shroud or even a fibreglass moulding. Electric window switches, motors & regulators.

I would love to have a Poncho motor, but they're hard to find & expensive to rebuild.

Here are some relatively recent pics.

As you can see, I've building it on the pavement 'Literally', since I don't have a garage, but it parks in a safe place.

Etch Primer is a good way to go, BUT make sure you seal it off with another primer before it rusts through the etch. Etch primer is meant to help your paint stick to bare metal, not to seal it or prevent rusting. Even if your metal is spotless, and you use etch only, it will begin to rust after seve...

Hi guys! I'm Tony(23) from Johannesburg. I've got a 1969 Pontiac Firebird Conv. undergoing complete restoration. So far I've done everything myself, from rebuilding the 350 V8 engine/box to replacing the rusted out floorpans and I am now reconstructing the body using lead and mig welding new metal w...
