I am planning on importing, it will be the last lot to complete the car. But I try to get as much as I can locally. I also need a fan shroud or even a fibreglass moulding. Electric window switches, motors & regulators.

Etch Primer is a good way to go, BUT make sure you seal it off with another primer before it rusts through the etch. Etch primer is meant to help your paint stick to bare metal, not to seal it or prevent rusting. Even if your metal is spotless, and you use etch only, it will begin to rust after seve...
