Remove the rear mounting bracket and high pressure line, then remove the 2 or 3 studs that attaches the mount...

It's not a '72 US spec Capri, we got the same bumpers you guys got.
It's actually a '74 US spec Capri, and no, you can't put the '74 bumpers
on a '72. Why would you, they weigh about 70lbs [5 stone] each...
I've got a pair, I'll take pics and post them later today...

1973-77 Grand Prix are essentially the same car; but, the 1974+ models have full on 5 MPH crash bumpers. You would be better off staying with the OEM 1973 front clip. Actually, '73s had a 5mph front bumper, standard rear bumper, '74 was both bumpers had to be 5mph... As for more power: take that 40...
