Re: 1972 Plymouth Cuda

I also think the price is fair considering the cost of importing one and the parts used - MOPAR parts aren’t cheap and after shipping and duties things quickly add up. Also consider that this one is available now. How many have actually been offered for sale to the general public in the last few yea...

Re: Another Dimention to Water Crisis in Cape town

Sad state of affairs when politicians are in charge. But, I have also been living up North and can say that at least in the Cape there’s still maintenance, if not adequate. What I find fascinating is City officials wanting to shut down private borehole use as well, unless it is for flushing your loo...

Re: Affordable muscle cars in SA

I think Waterhond indicated that the author has in mind that these muscle cars are in general too expensive. Expensive is relative however--these muscle cars are popular, scarce in our RSA and there are always people around with the bucks. The author maybe made these estimations ten or more years ag...

Maybe he is bringing some reality to people.
What reality makes an e-body Cuda sell for R190k and a Mustang for R600k? Reality is the e-body cars are imports and come at a premium giving their rarity in SA, our exchange rate, duties/taxes and transport. :(

Not sure what this author is smoking but he should package and sell it. R600k for a Mustang yet e-body Cudas are R190k.

Re: Your Motoring Year

Bought a ‘58 Apache which needed a lot more work than I thought, even though it was in what looked like great condition, but it is being done right and will be awesome. It is a nut and bolt rebuild. We’re currently busy with re-assembly and it’s going to be an absolute stunner. Manage to finally get...

Re: What is on your Christmas wishlist?

Many years ago my Mother in Law wanted a fast English sporty type vehicle for Christmas, I offered her a MG, nope she didn't like them. Second option was an Austin Healey, nope didn't like that either. I thought about a Broom and pointed black had but settled on a Jaguar, this was the best investme...
