I suspect the RHD conversion was done in the states, car was since then exported and registered in SA. So probably those pics were taken in the USA.Bearhawke wrote:Complete with a current Texas license plate? Although the irony is that our state of Texas has specific rules concerning RHD cars.
The OP made mention of RSA rules concerning the turn signals re: that 1967 Mustang, could someone elaborate?
Or maybe he got a set of plates for shows etc. No idea.
Re: 1967 Ford Mustang
Quite possible since Dynacorn now sells the dash, etc. parts to convert a 1967 Mustang to right hook-----------as well as complete brand new 1965-70 bodyshells in both L and RHD (1967 only) configuration!Maverick wrote:I suspect the RHD conversion was done in the states, car was since then exported and registered in SA. Re: 1967 Ford Mustang
I know I'm going to get blasted but here goes. My view it that this whole Eleanor look a like thing is now died down and the problem is now people are realizing that why take a nice original 67 or 68 and cover it with fibre glass and think it pretty. I have a mate that has one of those same fibre glass looking cars and sorry to say but he's stuck with it. He's been trying to sell it for ages and because he bought it when they where at there prime he paid big money for it. Now he has to sell it for big money to try not to loose anything. The days of the Eleanor cloning are coming to a end. I wonder when the next big hit will come . I hope It features a glorified impala. Give me a stock 67 or 68 anyday.
Friends don't let friends drive JUNK.
