Me and my better part stays every year this time for two weeks in Plettenbergbay and

then also visit Knysna for a sight seen etc. The last few years I have always visited The House

of Sports Cars and Classics in Knysna and they have really nice cars on the floor, well, most of

them.

Today again went to look and had a talk with a sales person. Their stock is actually mostly consignment

and they charge 10% of the selling price. The showroom is neat, professional and situated

in the main street of Knysna. I think they have good and widespread publicity.

They have a wide variety of stock and I saw today that Harley Davidson Co. is busy occupying

a little corner in the (big) showroom.

They are (since last year) very strict with visitors and no people allowed in the showroom just

for tyre kicking, children also strictly forbidden if not with parents. What I am trying to say is that

they keep a close eye on preventing damage to the cars.

Len, have you ever considered above business to sell your coup?

Johan I live in Durban, so Knysna is very far! Also I am very scheptical about giving someone my car on consignment. I'd raher keep it!

If it's meant to go to a new home the right owner will find me!

Sold her today, paid for and delivered...: I'm a bit sad though, she was my first ground up build and one of a kind!

Ouch! That sucks and even worse messes up my chances of ever owning something as remarkable as that. Everyone is just buying up cheap and then pushes the price up for re sale! This is not gas monkeys, if you want to buy something for yourself the do it, I hate these lets make a buck buyers! Now everyone assumes his car is worth what these chancers are asking for there bumped up sales and no one can afford anything now. Well that's my rant and rave over....

I got 300k for her, cost me 350 to build. They've changed the mirrors, fiddled with front suspension, so plenty spanner marks on what was flawless paint. Added Aircon and in my opinion silly sound. It's A very nice car but never near that price.
