Hi Boxy,
I spoke to the owner and he admitted that it is not an original GT,something happened to his genuine GT so he transferred everything to a 6 body,numbers not matching.

Owners name is Jannie Foure if I remember correctly.

Nice GT clone.Used to hang out a lot at the old Fairmont GT club meets.Nice guy too.

Buy the car and you get a Casper ghost on the window too.......

You are welcome my friend. I guess also this was Ford's intentions to have a GT different to other models by having a unique body that could not be copied.


Frik,

Has been done before not anything new here bud. I'm sure over time there has been many a person that has done this & not always for the means of a dodgey sale but to hold on to there classic by transferring the goodies into a new shell.
