Hi Tim is this for 302W, 351W, 351C? Also is the coil in the cap as I have never used them?

Can you please confirm if the Ford HEI distributor fits 302W SBF and is a direct replacement for the manual points and condensor, or is it a replacement for later models with electronic ignition (ignitor? Coil?)?

Forgive my ignorance - coil, points and condensor I understand - electronic ignition ECU etc is not something I have ever fiddled with.

hi there.the hei ignition system is an upgraded system from points and condensor to electronic ignition with built in coil.it is an all in one system.no need for external coil etc.
i have 2 that will fit a ford 302 motor as well as 3 that will do a 350 chevy sbc.i have 1 that will do ford 351 cleveland motor sent to me on error.

WE ORDERED THE PROCOMP.ONLY THE 351 C HAS A PROCOMP BOX
THE CHEVY IS A 6500 R AND THE FORD IS A KMJPE 3300.CHEV IS FROM SKIP WHITE PERFORMANCE AND THE FORD IS FROM KMJ RACING.HOPE THAT HELPS

The HEi is a very good dizzy.I use them in my Chev V8,V6,L6 and 4 cilender 2.5.And my Cadillac,Oldsmobile and even a Holden 308.
Works like a charm.
