Hi guys, yes this was a Perana option from BG and I had one on my Perana when I bought it. Not sure if I will refit it but have it still.
The only other Ford MK1 boot spoiler I am aware of was fitted to the facelift RS3100 (known as the duck tail spoiler) and similar to the Z181 spoiler.

I seem to remember reading that the racing capris of the '70's were in need of some aerodinamics in order to stay ahead of the BMW's that had spiolers and wings already and the Duck tail wing was the design that was most benificial.
I don't know if BG came up with the design and it was copied by the europeans or the other way round and was Z181 equipped with this wing from the start? I would seem that Z181 had it first though.
Perhaps ZA Historics could help with this query. I think we need a new thread for this one.
