Ters, if it was a 540i manual, in a heartbeat, but that's just personal preference.

Any old car is going to cost something in repairs sometime.

Any of those BM's have epic pace, E34 540i and E38 740i's can be had for silly money and BM parts and know-how shouldn't be difficult to obtain.
Not to mention ride quality and comfort.

What I'm looking for is a plain old fashioned v8. I really dont mind a well done conversion either. The less electronics the better. Hate all this electronics telling a car what to do and what's going on. I know you guys are gonna feel the pinch soon. That bonus money cant last forever lol!!!!

@ damagecontrol, I think I'll second that!! But just out of interest sake, what do you guys think of a landy v8?

And this is suppose to be a wanted add :) And you guys are suppose to omake me offers lol

With you on this one! ;) I bought all service items for my E60 at the agents for LESS I could at Midas!
The owner of the E39 540 is away on holiday, will negotiate once he's home.....

Some guys swear by LR V8's, some swear at them! Parts are not as readily available as the Chevy/Ford.
Jaguar with a 350 would be cool.
