Checked two weeks ago - now R4,500 from Kaapstad to Joeys.
Thank you guys!

The Monaco he is selling has an extra engine, bonnet, bootlid, dashboard and other miscellaneous spares. One trip on a load bed will not carry all...
We have a gentlemen's agreement, should I not find one closer to home, we'll negotiate early mid January. He's retracted the car from the market for Des....wants to enjoy it with his family festive cruises.

Other option is to get the car here by rail, and spares on a load bed.

I really appreciate you guys willing to assist!

If/when you get it: pics, LOTS of pics, please!

Ters

Do you specifically shop for a Dodge Monaco or a Chrysler 383 ,or are you looking

for a big V8 car in general, but Mopar as first prize?

Would love a Monaco Johan.....the rear tail lights has a certain "mystical" design to them I can not resist :P But yes sir, any large V8 Sedan with Mopar being first prize ;) .

After looking through every possibility, follow up on every lead....I found my '67 Dodge Monaco 3km from where I stay!!
Interior recovered in dark red leather (to be installed), four barrel intake, gearbox redone etc. Extra tail lights, new boot lock, extra bumpers, windscreen. Good price I paid...but needs good clean up. Here she is gents!! Will post more pics on Saturday once home.

Well done Ters.
That body looks sweet. Sometimes waiting pays off.
Enjoy the ride.
