Posting a wanted add on our forum

Post by FairmontGT » Fri 07 Mar 2008, 22:13

Dont place a wanted add on our forum if you do any of the following (you will be banned):

1. You are rude and dont introduce yourself
2. You dont bother to read the forums and the adds already in the for sale section
3. You post in the wrong section
4. You pretend to be a serious buyer but just want to buy a ridiculously good car for no money at all
5. You are an asshole in general

If your first post on this forum is for a car in the wanted section, know for sure you will be banned and the add will be deleted

(EDIT: OK I found the thread)

(EDIT AGIN: re reading that thread I think bomboau was having a laugh - just look at the domain for his email!)

In all fairness: a newbie posting a 'wanted' ad may not mean any disrespect...........he may be legit and simply wants to buy a car/bakkie prior to joining in the conversations here :)

We have no problems with newbies. Just a bit of an intro is necessay.

I think Clint did it right on Friday viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2980. That was a really nice first post!
