The reason I asked is I watched the coverage on TV which was quite good. Were there many spectators there? It didn't seem there were looking at the stands in the background. If this is the case, then it appears that both Zwartkops and Killarney need to look at the amount charged for entry to the respective circuits.

On Saturday I attended the annual air display at Ysterplaat in Cape Town. The charged R50 entrance fee, plus you got a free shuttle ride right to the action. The place was pretty full, coniderably fuller than any regional meeting held at Killarney and perhaps as full as the Piper day races.

Just a thought.

I don't think R50/R60 is that bad for a days racing (providing good racing is offered, like the last regional)....when i was at the OZZY V8's in earlier this year in Perth, the spectator entry fee was R700!!

Lets be honest, what entertainment do you get these days for R50?

Hell,i would pay R50 just to go and see that blue lighting bolt of a Stanza!
RACECAR spelt backwards spells RACECAR.....
