Colin you are coming along nicely. It wasn't so much that I could see you coming up on me, more that I could FEEL it. A sort of uncomfortable feeling in my spine. What was your smoke issue? Were you black flagged eventually?

Hi Tony

My t5 gearbox went south and put some oil onto the exhaust.I was black flagged on lap six and its a good thing because i think we caught it before it completely destroyed itself. Felt a bad vibration on the straights but i wasn't looking behind me so i did not see any smoke. I was so focussed on your car that i probably would have driven it until the gears climbed out.

Anyway, i've got a gearbox to pull out.

Cheers

Colin, one thing about the AP 600 brake fluid. You cannot mix it with anything else, so a full flush of your system before you put it in and only top up with the same stuff.

Morning
Calling on all you killarney history buffs out there. As a matter of interest, does anybody remember what kind of lap times the serge damseaux/john gibb sierra xr8's did around killarney?I'm sure they must have been deep into the 1 min. 20's.I remember seeing these cars take on the alfa three litre gtv's and tony viana's bmw 745i.I know it's a big ask but you guys are good at this stuff right?

Cheers

Thanks Tony. That's pretty impressive for a sierra. They were, however, running huge full slicks, AP racing brakes and worked motors.I think their interiors were stripped out too.Still,it must feel good doing those times in a sierra.
