ex GORDON BRIGGS BROADSPEED ANGLIA

Post by ClassicMan » Wed 29 Apr 2009, 11:12

I have it on very good authority that this car will make a return to the track track this year. Clive is busy with the bodywork at the moment and has renewed his competition license. At this stage it is unsure as to if he is going to restore the car to original spec or not.

I'll keep the forum posted as things develop.

Well if he isn't going to restore it to the original spec, what's the point? As Gunter said, he has been promising this for so long now. This thread was on the go quite a while back.

Let's see what materialises. Please keep us up to speed ClassicMan. If this guy is serious this will be as important as the Gough Escort that was unveiled back in February 2009 at Killarney.

Wrong Nick, Hi-Fi - are you thinking of Nick Sheward perhaps?

Knowing the owner....if you are not afraid of a shot gun ,then you can get pics.

Actually a very sad story, this famous car deserves a proper resto job - in my opinion this will never happen.
