It was seriously fast, and was often in a dice with Ray Yeo's Perana (Original Gunston A2 - painted in Grovenor Ford colours) and Royce Love's Chevron B21.

The car is back with it's original owner in the Jhb area and he has ideas of restoring it but with a V8 and not the Rotary. I have always been curious as to this cars's history. Anyone know anything about this car?

Tried a search on the name and nothing came up...can anybody help here??

Early 90's I think, there was such a MK1 Escort with a rotary. They had these anything goes classes. I know I have photo's of it because it was just an odd combination. As was a Renault 5 with a rotary, and a very comical looking rwd Mazda 323 shape over a Tiga sports race car. The rotary Escort was white if I remember correctly.

Looks like it used to be a Mercedez 500 SEC in a previous life. Nice looking race car though
