Charade number F83. Come and introduce yourself if you are down there. Sadly no historics or fine cars on the day.

Hey Henry

Good to see all you guys. I met Wingwalker a couple of weeks back as well at the MOTH boma at Malmesbury Bend.

It's always nice to put faces to names. We still have lots to chat about.

But man, you okes must have been getting a bit wasted by that time!

Keep that Escort coming! Might see you on Saturday.

Hi ren8gor

Nice to have met you, Chris and your uncle. You seem to have got the Charade going a bit quicker. It must have been hairy out there in the wet.

Keep that Gordini coming boet! We wanna see it.

Hi Fi, you really do have an amazing archive of pictures...I think many of us are very greatful that you have reposted some of the other ones.

I have a lot of magazine pictures but sometimes black and white doesnt convey the period very well.

Hi ZA

The problem is that I will run out of pictures eventually. This is why I'm on a crusade to scan as many pictures as possible, if people will be kind enough to let me have them. Again, there is no way I am going to make money out of them or to increase my pension by selling them. I do it purely for the love of it and the enjoyment they bring to other people.

Most pictures end up in albums or in drawers and cupboards and when the owners do a clear out or pass away, those pictures, which to me have a huge historical importance to our sport, get thrown away. Once the pictures are gone, they are gone forever and that means the younger generation will never know how things happened.

I'll be in touch with you during the week about next Sunday. I've just got to clear it with my government!

hi,
The yougster peering thru the window on the left hand side of Scamp Porter's R8 Gordini could well be me.
I am inserting a pic taken by myself of the Late Doug, In the Wall sponsered Lola missing / overshooting Hoals Not the Photograher diving to get out of the way.
