Hi does anyone have some nice close up or clear pictures of the wheel arch flares on the Scamp Porter car. My R8 wheels touch now that the car has been lowered. I would also like soem detail of the front air dam. If you look at the phots posted previously by hi-fi, it seems to have a diffuser of sorts under the "shark mouth".

Anybody got more pics of the front. I need to neaten up the radiator cowl.

PS missed classics day because motor now mysteriously siezed whilst standing???

I don't have any static pics of the car in it's highly modified state. Maybe someone else can help?

Man, those rear arches look awesome. It would give my one some serious attitude. Isn't there an issue in the historic rules that limit the width of flares?

With regards the front, I think it looks ugly. I have seen better shapes on other cars. ie Lytton Coomer and Cindy Evans cars that look a lot better. One of the rare instances when period does not look better.

I think there were some other static pictures somewhere on this forum...
Alfa GTV 3.0
Ford Capri Perana V8
Chevy Lumina Supercharged

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.

rengor8 - just check on flare specs before you do anything. I think there is a ruling on them being in accordance with period type flares (whatever that means). Best you get a copy of the rules and regs from the classics guys. I think I have a copy - will look see if I do.
