KR.....when i was in OZ a few weeks ago i saw Errol Shearsby, he has been working for Revolution Racegear ever since he moved to Australia when George Santana moved over and started Revolution 20+ years ago.
Errol says the only thing he races now is bicycles!
RACECAR spelt backwards spells RACECAR.....

Sorry for bring up an old topic, but as you guys know I am a FIAT guy and still exploring the forum.

My father actually races a FIAT 131 in historic touring cars.

What happened to Louis Cloete from Port Elizabeth? I was in Std 10 with his elder brother and he in Std 8!! ;) Makes him in the late 68's! ;)

Louis Cloete and his son race very fast VW Beetles in the same series my father races in.

I think Errol used to race a 125 Scorpian as well...was red if i remember well :idea:

He did yes, it was John Conchie's old car.

Thank you for the pic of Errol's 132. Only pic I had was a small black and white picture from the race programme of 6 Nov 1976 Wynn's 1000 race at Kyalami

Wonder what happened to the car? Would like to built a replica of that car, since I got a spare Elita at home.

In the 1971 I had a 125 Scorpion. It was a epic car for that time. I got the car with a about 2500km on the clock. I drove that car for 16 years with more that 360000 on. In that time there was a few engine, gearbox and diff changes. LOL

Still one of the best cars that I have owned
