Thanks for posting Indy...I wondered what happened there and this explains exactly how it went down :D

nice to see hw South African racing went down but why were we not recognised or am i wrong in saying so or we were not exposed in the media much???

What I would like to know, is what happened to the racing cars?

The XR8's probably moved onto the Wesbank and such series', but what of the others, where is the 3.0 GTV6's, E12 BMW's, Interceptor's, Fiat Racing's that raced?
Where they crushed by the manufacturer's, exported, stripped for parts for road cars or standing somewhere in a shed?
If they ended up as stock cars, does anyone have photos of these cars on the oval track?

I know Pop Didericks still has his works race FIAT 131 Racing. He bought the car from FIAT after the car was banned from Group One racing. But what happened to the rest, your guess is as good as mine.
