I got a 400 S/B Chevy with roller rockers and all needed to go fast, but I will be very, very careful to take on that Chrysler/ Dodge V8 as they are "SCARY". Cheers Rassie.
Re: Any Mopower here?
Hi Jay,
I am also busy with a 440-powered '69 Barracuda that will have a lot of old-school parts that are used hand-me-downs and will be a slap together affair which is guesstimated at around 500hp.......292/.509 hyd. cam, 12.5 TRW popups, sixpack rods, stock stroke, slightly ported 906's with 2.14/1.84's and an 800 Holley on a team G.........nowhere close to what you have invested in yours
Also replicating a 440-6 for my '71 'Cuda which will have close to factory rating of around 390hp
Hats off to you for going the route that you have taken and wish you all the best on your project and am anxious to see your Barracuda kick some generic butt

You should have a chat to my dad. He worships Chrysler V8s and has rebuilt quite a few of them. His number is 028 55 11 425.
Re: Any Mopower here?
Hi there guys,
My experience with the big M is that when you went with a big block Mopar, nothing ever after that is enough.
But then again I am hugely biased towards the M brand. However I will be very careful of a well put together 4V 351C, these are engines that competes in their own class.
I am currently busy getting parts together for my RB Mopar, but it is still a long way before it is done. I am after a six pack setup, I do not want to imitate the OEM specs, it will be a serious street and occasional strip setup with a built A727. a Single 4 barrel will probably make more horsepower (debatable) and be a lot easier to set-up, this however does not scare me.
Jay, I like your setup. Will get you hooked. If I may ask why did you not go with a Hughes cam?
Regards,
Deon

Yes & it's about time the Chryslers & Plymouths come out more & show those Fords & Chevy's how it's done
