The grille is from 1971 Dodge Demon (Dart)

That's correct about the grill. Here in the US, those cars were sold as the 2nd generation of the Dodge Dart. These were first called Demons and then the name was changed back to Darts. You can still find the 2nd generation A-bodies for a reasonible price if you are not looking for the 340 powered cars....those were the only true factory performance versions. There were some dealer built 383 and 440 cars but those are both rare and expensive. However, with the current weak dollar, US muscle cars are pouring out of this country by the tens of thousands. Sad thing is none of these cars are as easy to find as many may think. You can still find good cars in California, Arizona, and New Mexico but once you get east of the Rocky Mountains, old cars are very hard to find, especially anything that is worth rebuilding.

Well I was out the other day and saw this Charger going along so went faster to catch up to it. When I got close I saw that the body was blue and battered and the boot was silver worn down to the rusty metal. I think this was a 6 cylinder. I was going to hoot to find out how many were in the car but drove off because it was in such a bad condition. Not good to see a car like that.

That Valiant which barracuda posted in "what cars do members drive" under general, is brilliant. It might not be a Charger, but the condition that car is in, who cares?

And with that car it would be a sad day when you have to scrape a uno from your thick bodywork - might even damage the paint

Got a bolt in bracket, with Mastercylinder, and booster for the project. btw
