Hi Viktor,
Welcome.
Before you start on this project, make sure that your proposed car will qualify under the Swedish historic rules.
Specifically check two things:
1. Are you allowed to race a replica? A V8 in a Capri is not an actual Perana.
2. Does your car type have to be homologated? Peranas were never homologated.
Motor sport ruling organisations in different countries have differing ideas. For example: In Australia - no problem, in Germany - not possible.
I am not trying to discourage you from building a replica, but if your intention is to race, you need to make sure that you will be allowed race your replica it when it is built.
Welcome.

Yea thats Why a need detailde information and real dokument of the car...
In sweden al the cars need to have been homologated but IF you can prove the racing hostory and all the specs you may have a chance to make it legal as an prototype
IT al comes down to the dokuments end real specifikation to prove its been racing

Re: Perana A2
As I understand it, in Sweden you can only race a non homoglated car if it is the actual, original race car with provenance and documented history.
A replica does not meet these requirements.
Please check your local rules, I could be wrong.

I Will ask the technical judges what the rules says but they allready told me that al comes down to do information of the car and if i can make It an more or less exact replica.zahistorics wrote:As I understand it, in Sweden you can only race a non homoglated car if it is the actual, original race car with provenance and documented history.

If its posible to do so they may make it aproved regardles of the homologation

Agreed.zahistorics wrote:So tell us what details you need exactly.
Its going to be a tough sell to the Swedish authorities. About a decade ago I assisted a guy when the Aus authorities queries his Perana rally car.

Re: Perana A2
The reason I didn't sell my A2 replica in Sweden? Non provenance. No Homologation. It's a no no.
