Today while surfing the net I saw all the crazy factory colors of the GT's available in AUS. Do you know if any of those colors made it over here? I know the SA GT's were all painted here since they were CKD kits imported from down under. Also I saw a pic of a lime green (ex SA) Monaro SS claimed to be a factory color aswell. I know my dad's nephew had a Yellow Monaro SS but I never saw any of those wild colors. Just interested to know...

Some colors were the same, but they had a bigger variety on the Falcons.

Boxy and Rassie might be able to add, but we git Ermine white; Maize; Fern Green, Light Blue (can't recall the exact name), Cherry Red.

Wild Violet etc, was not available here.

Diamond blue,raven black,wimbleton white,gold,metallic brown....

Was the same colors available on the XW and XY?

What a chop, my own car is Amber, and I forget it!

Amber as in my case was a XW color stock, but not available on XY as far as I know.

Not sure if we got black and brown GTs.

Brown was available on the sixes.

I did see one brown GT on a XY in JHB, never painted.
Everglade as Maverick and Boxy got and the rare Pearl Gray one. I got one going to OZ this year. It may be the last one left in this color in S.A.!
And another green(I forgot the name!). Not Fern green!
There are more but I have to recall!! Getting old?

Is Fern Green the same as the US Mustang Lime Gold? Mercury Lime Frost? Australian XY Lime Light metallic? They look close.
