2004 MG ZT V8

Post by IndianaJones » Mon 06 Apr 2015, 20:28

For a few months in 2004/2005 the MG ZT V8 was available for purchase in South Africa.

Received a lot of press coverage at the time, most magazines testing them.

Anyone know what happened to them? Any mates owned/still own one?
Mustang 4.6L V8, Tremec 5spd, Dana LS Diff, might be a bargain find now, 10 years later.

I think there was one example in SA, CAR tested it if I recall correctly.

As to what happened to it....
Alfa GTV 3.0
Ford Capri Perana V8
Chevy Lumina Supercharged

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.

Might find it at a bargain, but I think spares will be a nightmare.

Not the V8, but anyone here have any experience with them?
Seems quite a lot of car for the money...

those engine are super smooth and overall a very nice car, very under rated in my opinion. Oh, and alot of engine parts etc can be found on the freelander 2.5 v6 as it shares the same engine. I had to do a cylinder head job recently on one and didn't wait too long for parts. special tools were required however to set cam timing.
