I guess it all depends on what power you looking at getting, and in my case I'm not looking for a race car.....I guess I'm just looking for that little bit of extra

The question is, which Mercedes SLK? If it’s off a 1999 and earlier, pre-facelift SLK230, then it’s probably an Eaton M62, which Eaton spec’s for cars to 2.5L to 4.0L. A way to tell is apparently the length of the rotors, 6” long rotors would equate to a M62, 4.5” rotors would be an Eaton M45, etc.

Next step up would be an Eaton M90 (for cars 3.0 to 5.0 Litres), which was probably only available here, new, on 6-cylinder Jaguar XJR’s.
