No, it is the one shown on this car, I had two of them and sent one to NZ. It was modelled on the Mustang Fastback one.
I have the BG magazine add for them on my computer at home. I will post it here later.
Hi Paul. My dad has one of these Basil Green rear wings on his Ford 20m RS, but it was fitted back-to-front and we-re not sure it came with the correct upright mounts (these are made of aluminium). Do you perhaps have pics of the correct upright mounts?

Hi yes, I still have a wing at home complete with the mounts and yes they are alloy.
I will take pics for you when I get the chance as I’m working late hours at the moment.
Cheers

You are quite correct I had forgotten about these, I know that there were a few variations of them sold by other speed shops at the time.

Me, not sure such a big wing really suits the Capri...

My car had one fitted when I bought it but I have decided to remove it as I'm also not a big fan of them. That went to Lawrence Smithson in NZ.
I still have one that I bought here in the UK from Boss302 just for the nostalgic aspect.
I remember seeing one fitted to a Granada Perana in Nelspruit many years ago.

have any of you ever seen the factory wheels widened, with the stock tyres stretched on?

Hope the pic can show it...

Yes, my car has widened wheels, 205's. Those look like 205 tyres, you need to remember back in the day widening of wheels wasn't unusual.

Looking at the pictures you have posted, it seems this car hasn't moved for a very, very long time.

The original wheels for the Capri Perana were MK2 Cortina 2000E 5.5J Rostyles. Many were widened to various widths to get wider tyres on for better traction. Yours look very wide.
