so...had to go up the garden route for work......found these at a "plaas dorpie take aways"

they were being used for ornaments...along with a lot of other old car stuff.....They're pretty complete and the screws turn. Tractor superchargers?

Spoke to the wife of the owner...she says she has no idea what they are :lol: her husband bought it as part of a load of scrap metal from a farm auction. She even wanted to know if we knew what they were.....i nodded knowingly :|

Detroit Diesel 671 blowers. Originally used on earth moving equipment.
The can be modified for automotive use.

Hey.. I am looking for one of those. I want to modify it to use as a vacuum pump at work. Care to share the number of the place ??
