If I had R100 for every time I have been told the bold part I would be incredibly wealthy. I call the seller out on that one to be honest, there has only been ONE occasion when I found this to be true and it was a Firenza driven on trade plates for 30+ years.
The car itself seems to be fairly decent based on the pictures, find out what diff it has because the standard 3 litre diff wont work well, the final drive ratio will be too short.
Ask the seller if it has a toploader gearbox.
Thank you, getting more info after the 3rd.

Wait not for tomorrow to do what can be done today, live each day for one knows not what the next day may hold.

Whatever a 3.0 in same condition is worth, plus 10% - 15% extra.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who pitched in with advice and info, also via PM. Really is appreciated.
It may or may not be a car for the true "Perana" fans. But i hope when i get it on the 11th i can shed as much light as possible on the origins for those who are interested.
If it is NOT a Basil Green etc, i am not phased as it is still a sick Muscle car and to be honest, thats all i want right now. \m/

I walked away from the sale today and had to cancel the collection of the car, the engine is not matching the paperwork and the car is actually badly put together upon much closer inspection..
the search continues, wasted two days here in jhb but at least i never bought a lemon..
