Its the 3.3 liter inline 6. According to the guy I bought him from is still the original engine and gearbox. I registered it without a hassle (was told you cant register LHD anymore) so now i just have to put the new GP plates on.
Will post more pics later

Ai, ai, a 3.3lt in line 6. Thought they were V6.
Can you post some more pics of the engine gay.

Welcome.. 2 of my cars were matching numbers 3.3L Straight 6's. My T-Top 81 currently runs one of those Strt 6's.
So do you want to sell that datsun of yours

Here's a pic of the engine. Its a bit dusty. Good news is that the guy fixing it is having a diff seal made. Hopefully I'll be driving him by the weekend.
