Hello from the states.....

Post by Jeeper » Tue 06 Mar 2012, 02:21

Just thought I would say hello. I have been reading your threads for a couple of weeks now. You guys have a lot of different cars that you can "play" with. It is neat to see some of our old cars from here that are still running and well taken care of. Also fun to see the small cars with the large motors stuffed in them.
I have been to South Africa before, spent a month in 1989 there. So I at least know what some of the country looks like, 20 some years ago.....
Nice forum, keep up the good work. Chris

Welcome to the forum Chris. I hope you will post a few of your car pictures for us.
I love the American cars and still use a few as my everyday transport. :D

Welcome to the forum Chris. Share some photos of your rides. What were you in SA for, work or pleasure, and where did you travel?

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome.

When I was in SA I stayed in Johannesburg, my best friend at the time was from there and we stayed at his grandmothers home. We went to Durban, Petoria, and also Kruger National Park. Great vacation!

I didn't know the AC Cobras were built in SA!!!!....little car big motor!!! 8O

I will post some more this evening when I get home from work.
