Unfortunately I got the car like this. I thought about going for the original lights, but after a while it kinda grew on me. After all, this is a resto mod

Keep the lights, I am one of the heathens that liked the conversions and actually did it myself too. The Capri's original lights were always well out of proportion with the rest of the car, one of many instances where you wonder what the H Ford was thinking.

Yours look like it was done neatly too.

I have to agree with some of the comments re. the Datsun lights.
My first Capri had the Datsun 260C lights, and that just looked nasty (and not in a good way)

If you're going for the original look, obviously you need to have the original lights.
As for me, I'm happy with those I've got now.
