I really need some help with the following request. This senator of mine had a speedo cruise unit fitted and the reading is taken from a sensor attached to the bodywork adjacent to the prop shaft. Directly opposite the sensor on the prop shaft itself and at 180 degrees opposite each other are two mini magnets. Well, this unit was in storage for around twenty years and somehow one of the mini magnets has fallen off. The magnets were in a small rubber casing which was attached to the prop shaft by means of two cable ties. I am looking for the two magnets if anyone on this forum can help me.
The speedo cruise is an essential and integral part of the vehicle's factory spec so I would like to get it working again.
Any Help will be appreciated.

Hi, all on this awesome petrolhead forum. My name is Graham Chapman and I live at the moment in Tzaneen Limpopo. I have an Opel Senator 1985 in mint condition and because of what I have done to it I believe I am qualified to be a member here.
Not too far in the future, I will be posting the whole project and what I have done to this beauty since buying it in 1996. The following are the only photos I can find of what my beauty looks like. I will be finishing my own car of the exact same color and will post photos of my car soonest. It is on jack stands at present doing some routine maintenance.
Welcome Graham!

New member. Used to live in Capetown, moved to the U.S. recently.
Still own my mk2 79 escort, still in SA, and a 67 mustang here in the states.
Am working on importing the escort after 10 years of restoring it!

Hi all. I'm a Ford fan. From Goodwood in Cape Town. I enjoy the good things. Time with family, 60s and 70s rock ñ roll music and good cars. I host a radio show on an internet radio station where I play good music, old adverts and things. Not sure if I may name-drop on the forum so I won't do it here.

I have a 1981 Ford Cortina 2.0GL Automatic which I decided to get during the pandemic in 2020. Everything was so uncertain at the beginning of CV19 that I decided I am not going to wait until I am 40 or 50 before I get my dream car. Currently still working on it. Hope to post more on the forum as we go along.
