ROSTYLE WHEELS

Post by ftpguy » Wed 01 Nov 2017, 17:54

I have just bought another bunch of rough 108x4 pcd Rostyles, and have discovered a bunch a variety of offsets and widths.

does anyone perhaps know what a Capri Perana Rostyle wheel spec is,offset and width.

Want to make up a set for my Escort mk1,and who still does steel rim widening/banding.

cheers,thanks
Justin

Hi,
Escorts both Mk1 and Mk2 were picky about rim offsetts, I think 20-30mm was std. With wrong ofsett wheel you end up with a crappy ride and wheel wander on cambered roads
Rather work with zero to +10 set to meet the cars requirement. otherwise you will need to widen arches etc.

To answer your question the standard Capri Perana wheel was a chromed Cortina 2000E Rostyle of 5 1/2 J.
Cheers
