E = Source ~ Ford of Germany
S = Assembly ~ South Africa

GC = Granada Coupe
N = Year of Assembly ~ 1973
D = Month of Assembly ~ November
81460 = Serial Number
179285 = Sido number
M = Engine ~ 3.0L V6
N = Trans ~ Floor shift 4 speed Manual
blank = Diff ratio code (don’t have that info, and this is usually a numeric code)

Trim codes
blank = If there was a character in this position, it would indicate a Vinyl Roof
0 = Monotone
F = "New Tan" interior

Paint Code
blank = This position indicates metallic paint or not, left blank it's probably a standard acrylic enamel.
0 = Monotone
N = Alpine White
